Since 1999 OCS group of companies has been representing in the Baltic region the interests of Hapag-Lloyd AG – one of the world leaders in sea container shipping and an active member of the leading consortium in global liner shipping, the Grand Alliance.
For over 150 years Hapag-Lloyd AG has been linking continents, countries and cultures living up to its motto “The world is our oyster”. The history of the world’s famous sea shipping operator goes back to the mid XIX century when two shipping companies – Hapag and North German Lloyd were founded in Germany. They merged in 1970 and nowadays Hapag-Lloyd AG is a transnational corporation with the headquarters in Hamburg, 320 offices in 130 countries and employees numbering 7000. An extensive network of the Line’s representative offices enables the company to take account of the peculiar features of local markets and ensure that the services provided to its numerous customers are of the highest quality.

 With its shipping routes covering almost the entire globe, Hapag-Lloyd AG offers its customers complex logistics packages along 80 transport routes (services), which are constantly expanded and optimized.
The line operates 140 containerships with a total capacity of over 600000 TEUs, as well as a container stock of around one million TEU including one of the world's largest and most modern reefer container fleets. In 2011 - 2012 Hapag-Lloyd AG took delivery of further 12 vessels with a capacity 8,750 TEU each. Further development program comprises construction of another 6 vessels with a capacity of 13,500 TEUs in next two years.
All vessels are equipped to transport various types of cargo, including refrigerated, hazardous and oversized cargo. The line offers its customers over 20 types of containers suitable among others for transport of over-dimensional and special cargo.
